Ok world, here it is: Kimball's birthday list - 2005
This year I'm pretty much into the same stuff I'm always looking for - digital devices of some sort or another, tools (especially the kind that require at least 120 V AC) and typical guy stuff like movies and video games.
Here are the top items I'm really looking for (oddly, they are all video games... ):
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - I just read Splinter Cell and enjoyed it immensely.
Command and Conquer: Generals - the next generation of the Red Alert series
NASCAR Racing 2003 Season - racing at its finest.
Spy Hunter - updated version of a game I pumped quarters into as a kid.
Here, in no particular order then, is the rest of list:
"Spinner" t-shirt - at the bottom of the page. I wear a size XL.
"SQL Query" t-shirt - the shirt caption says it all.
"No, I won't" t-shirt - I've wanted this shirt for a long time.
In Ear Headphones - supposedly sound really, really good...
iPod Shuffle - this is the itty-bitty little brother of the iPod.
iPod Photo - I figure if you can afford an iPod bigger than the Shuffle, you can probably afford the best of them all. :)
iLife '05 - I use the apps in iLife quite a bit, and would love the upgrade to the latest version.
iWork '05 - I sometimes need to make presentations, and based on what I've seen of this stuff so far, Apple really knows how to make a word processor.
The Broker - John Grishom - I love Grishom's style and stories. This is his latest.
Digital Video Camera - I don't have a specific model in mind here, but I want an optical zoom, a firewire interface, and, uhm.. lots of other stuff. :) Lemme know if you are actually serious about this one, and I'll do some research about what I really want.
Guy Movies - you know, the kind with explosions and spies and jokes, etc.
