Acerbic Resonance

There’s no substitute for a good subtitle.

So, I found an article today on the new core web fonts that Microsoft is bundling with Windows Vista.  The full write up is here, but anyone who knows me and my family much will recognize that Microsoft just stole the name of one of my kids for a font.

That chaps my hide.  Now, since I don’t have the marketing budget to promote my child’s name that Microsoft has to promote their fonts, everyone will think she was named after a dang web font.

"I mean, c’mon, her dad does work with computers, after all", they’ll say.

Sheesh.

Let this singular post be proof that my daughter was born and named way before Microsoft came along with their fonts.
